The AnyTone AT-D168UV is a dual-band (VHF/UHF) handheld transceiver that supports both digital DMR communication (compatible with the ETSI DMR Tier 1 & 2 standard) and analog FM operation. Unlike other devices in its category, it features true VFO functionality and two programmable buttons that allow for easy customization of core functions to suit the user's preferences. The radio amateur can directly set frequencies and transmission parameters without being limited exclusively to pre-programmed channels. At the same time, the device supports up to 4,000 memory channels, covering every communication need. It supports the storage of up to 500,000 digital contacts and 10,000 talkgroups, providing access to a vast database of DMR users. Thanks to the roaming feature, the device can automatically detect and select available repeaters from a predefined list, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted communication. In analog mode, it fully supports features such as DTMF, CTCSS, DCS, 2-tone and 5-tone signaling, as well as a 1750 Hz call tone. Finally, the AT-D168UV supports direct charging via a USB-C port, eliminating the need for external docks or specialized chargers. The same port is also used for easy connection to other devices. It also integrates a WFM receiver for listening to broadcast radio stations in the VHF band.
